Dot Net technology is a software development System Developed and owned by Microsoft Inc.
Confusion Between languages(C#,VB), Asp.net ,DOT NET in beginners.
- Dot-Net is the framework which provides the space , infrastructure and requirements for software development .e.g. A Notebook.
- C# , VB and many other languages are supported by DOT NET for developing application programs. e.g. Hindi, Bengali,English.
- ASP.Net is an already-built-in-application-program through which developers can develop Web-based Applications.e.g.Maths notebook.
Similar Technologies :
- Technologies similar to DOT-NET are Java(core java,advanced java),PHP,etc.
- Indicating the best Technology among these is a little bit controversial and to be judged by yourself.
- Java enables to enter deep into the code which makes it relatively secured language.
- PHP is a open source Technology renowned as the least secure technology.But the biggest social networking site (i.e Facebook) developed till now has been developed in PHP.
